It is dreadful to think about how long it has been since i have seen you & that i may never see you again. I have seen many shooting stars & sunrises, but none as bright or as beautiful as your eyes. The pieces of my broken heart are so small that they are slipping through your fingers. I miss you more than a caged bird misses the sky; the way flowers miss sunshine in the depths of winter. My soul grows cold without the warmth of your love. Hope is what got me through the day and especially the night. The hope that I’ll see you once again.
